Clinical Nutrition and Ayurvedic Nutrition

As a qualified Clinical Nutritionist (BHSc) and Yoga Therapist I work with both modalities, either separately or combined, according to your preferences.

Clinical Nutrition is an evidence-based approach where we look at your diet, lifestyle and health needs. It incorporates the latest science research to provide an individualised program tailored to your needs. Clinical Nutrition can support a wide range of health conditions and lifestyle goals, including stress management, sports nutrition, lifestyle diseases such as heart health and diabetes education, male and female fertility / pre-conception and pregnancy, weight management, IBS, IBD and digestive disorders, menopause, bone health, mental health wellbeing and chronic health conditions.

Ayurveda is the ‘Science of Life’ and the sister science to Yoga. Estimated to be around 5000 years old it is a detailed health system that is focused on using foods as medicine. An Ayurvedic consultation involves looking at your constitution, diet and daily care practices. It is a holistic approach with a focus on bringing the body, mind and spirit back to balance.

Client experience

Clinical Nutrition

“I saw Kersten in the hope of generally feeling better in my body. We talked about my long-standing allergy symptoms, most of which had now become part of my daily life. She talked to me about histamines, and it just made sense. I began with her suggested action plan and started feeling better within days. On reflection, after 2 weeks, I realised that my skin had started healing and my allergic symptoms had seemed to go away. Following the plan Kersten made for me has made me feel so much better than I have in years.

Kersten has a natural caring nature and is full of knowledge about how to heal both inside and outside the body. I’m so grateful to have had her help me through this healing journey.”
